Actually....Kenya!

Hey everyone! Because of some political unrest, and for a few other reasons we are no longer going to Ethiopia, but the Lord has called us to Kenya! I am very excited for all that He is going to do in our lives as well as the lives of the people around us! I am leaving on January First for 10 weeks of Ministry in Kenya, and I am in need of your prayers, and help financially!
I need about $3500 more as soon as possible to pay off all of the fees. This includes airfare, shots, outreach expensives while we are there, and any other equipment (hiking backpack, nice sturdy shoes, etc). I am asking family and friends if they would be willing to make a donation or a pledge towards this trip! The Lord has been teaching me so much, and i am so excited to take it all on the mission field to Kenya!

When i say that no gift is too small, i mean it! I need your help. By helping me financially you are helping every single person that we minister to: both physcally and spiritually...

I have a donate button on my blog that you can use your credit or debit card with: victoriousthroughgrace.blogspot.com

Also you can send checks made out to Prayer Center Fellowship to:

Victoria Grace Sutton
PO Box 10573

Thank you all so much for your prayer and support! Please check my blog to stay updated on everything involving my scholing and outreach!
And if you have any personal questions, call or text me at 434-221-8133 and we can talk!

Half Way There: Sixth Week at YWAM!

I just finished my sixth week of a 12-week lecture phase.

Wow.

Time goes by too fast for me to wrap my mind around it!

I have been learning so much, and God is truley molding me each and every day as i grow closer to Him.

As i grow closer to Him, I am learning so much about myself. I am learning my struggles, and my triumphs. I am being reminded of my weaknesses and my strengths.

This week we had Dave Buehring (Lionshare Leadership Group).

His basic topic for the week was relationships, but he branched into many other topics because of his many years of wisdom and leadership.
On relationships he talked about the “12 pillars of Godly relationships.”
He got these from Romans 12 and they are as follows:
·         Looking at others with a renewed mind.
·         Responding with Grace
·         Walking in true Humility (which is acknowledging who God made you to be: Nothing more, and nothing less).
·         Celebrating Diversity
·         Love. Making the choice to have genuine affection
·         Honoring one another. Putting Value on people like Christ does.
·         Joy, Hope, and Patience.
·         Prayer. You only can speak into someone’s life to the degree tht you pray for them.
·         Sharing
·         Understanding. Individual gifts and personalities
·         Blessing one another
·         Harmony. Walking in peace with one another.
He also posed questions for general growth as a Christian. One question I was challenged with was If I was the devil how would I attack me?
He talked about how the Lord will often use the first 2/3 of our lives as preparation for our true calling. And that as Christians we should be constantly moving forward.
He talked about how we al have a spiritual spine. We have truths that are the foundation of our lives, and along with that there is also fluidity and differnce that is in all of us.
He warned us not to get stuck in a Christian "Ghetto" where we can only surround ourselves with people like us. We hve our own launguage and style that we keep people away from.
He also shared on guy+girl relationships, attraction, and marriage.
He also had a lot to say about walking under authority, and used Daniel as an example.
God is working through a lot of things in my heart. It is a rough time, but i know that God is molding me and making me stronger. I am so excited about all that He will be doing in me and through me in this coming time!
Outreach teams should be announced soon, please be praying about my finances as that is still a need!

Outreach!!!!!

The details are still in the works, but we found out what countries we will be gong to on outreach!

There will be 2 teams. We don't know the teams yet.

The teams will be on 2 different continents.

One team is going to INDIA!

And the other team will be going to the continent of AFRICA. We do not know the specific country yet. They are working final details before announcing the country.

There will be 9 students on one team and 10 on the other. I am so excited!

I am also nervous. I have been getting to know the people here like family. It makes me sad to think we will be so far way from each other for 2.5 months. But, i am still very excited to put into practice all that I have been learning!

Please continue praying as I still need about $4000 for this outreach!

I have not decided which team i may want to be placed on, but i know whichever one it is, God will have a reason!

We should know our team placements by the end of this week, so wait in expectation with me!

India or Africa?
